The Activities You Couldn’t Do Anywhere In The World Other Than Singapore @VisitSingapore

They say the world is our oyster.

There's so many incredible places to explore around the globe, and if you're very lucky, some are truly unique to that particular place.

Singapore is fast becoming a unique trip for travellers - and with good reason. The city is alive with culture, cuisine, architecture and adventure.

We've teamed up with our friends at the Singapore Tourism Board and SilkAir, who know the city better than anyone else, to make sure you make the most of your time in this mind-blowing place.

Here are some of the activities you can do that you might not find anywhere else in the world:

Eat Lunch With Tropical Birds

Wander through the jungle of the breathtaking Jarong Bird Park. As you walk through the leafy terrain or cross the suspended bridges, you'll become serenaded by the sounds of rainbow-colored macaws, parrots and parakeets, elegant white cockatoos, and other tropical birds.

The park also offers a once-in-a-lifetime experience to have 'Lunch with Parrots'. Sit and enjoy a buffet lunch while a variety of tropical birds sit next to you and feast on their jungle treats.

The World's Highest And Longest Infinity Pool

It's likely you've seen it in pictures. The Marina Bay Sands Hotel is one of Singapore’s iconic architectural wonders over looking the city skyline and harbor.

On the top of the 57th floor, the world's highest and longest infinity swimming pool glistens in the daylight. Aside from its astounding architecture, the view is out-of-this-world.

But sorry to break it to you - this unique experience comes at a cost. While you can go up and enjoy a cocktail with a view, only hotel guests are allowed in the pool. You'll have to book yourself a room for the night to get the full experience. Prices start at around $420 per night.

Ridiculously Kitch Haw Par Villa Gardens

Here's something you won't find in the world, let alone on this planet. The Haw Par Villa Gardens is truly unique to Singapore. The entire park is so unbelievably kitsch and over-the-top, with quirky characters and sculptures that will make your jaw-drop. Not to be missed in Singapore, especially considering there's no admission fee.

National Orchid Garden

You'll find this special garden on the highest hill in the Singapore Botanic Gardens. As the name suggests, there's orchids - 60,000 of them to be exact. Consisting of 1000 species and more than 2,000 hybrids - the carefully designed slopes are three hectares of utter beauty. Separated by seasonal zones - each location has colorful orchids for every season, no matter what the time of the year! This is where the art of foliage truly comes alive...

Supertree Grove, Gardens By The Bay

Whether you're in the sky or on the ground, the unique vertical gardens of 'Supertree Grove' resemble towering trees, with large canopies and colorful lights at night.

Measuring up to 50 metres tall, these iconic tree-like vertical gardens are designed with large canopies that provide shade in the day and come alive with an exhilarating display of light and sound at night.

Megazip Adventure Park

Up for an adventurous and adrenaline packed experience? Located on the picturesque Sentosa Island, lives one of Singapore's famous landmarks. The world famous MegaZip flying fox spans 450m, where you fly at 60kph over the jungle and beaches of the Island. Now that will get your heart pumping!

We don't know about you, but Singapore is high on the bucket list for holiday destinations.

To enjoy the full experience that Singapore has to offer, book your tickets on SilkAir, now departing direct to Singapore five times a week. Fares from $586, terms and conditions apply.
