In case you haven't already gotten the warning, the following content involves MASSIVE Survivor spoilers.
SPOILERS, SERIOUSLY DON'T BE MAD AT US, GUYS.
Disclaimer: the following blog was written by a non-Survivor fan as all the fans in the office have refused to spoil anything for themselves.
Survivor host Jeff Probst has instantly evicted a contestant after witnessing what has already been labelled as the most disgusting act in the past 34 seasons of the show.
Contestants Jeff Varner and Zeke Smith, who both openly identify as gay, have formed a close mateship throughout this season so far.
However, during the most recent episode's Tribal Council, everyone witnessed what Probst has defined as the "worst thing anyone has done in 34 seasons".
Varner, apparently fearing that he was about to be voted out of the game, outed fellow contestant, Smith, as transgender.
Turning to Smith, he said, "why haven't you told anyone you are transgender?"
Until this, Smith had kept his gender identity a secret.
Their tribemates instantly reacted with shock - but not because they were upset about Smith's gender identity. Instead, they could not believe that Varner would use that information to try and advance in the game of Survivor.
The tribe spoke out in support of Smith, and unanimously agreed that Varner should be the one to go home.
