Listen, unless you have been living under a rock, you would know that Taylor Swift is currently on her reputation stadium tour and I don’t wanna be like a mother and say “YOU GOTTA GO SEE THIS TOUR, LISTEN TO ME," but also, that's exactly what I'm about to do.
Mainly because I care and you can’t go through your life making the mistake of not attending this masterpiece.
So tbh, I am doing you a favour and you are welcome.
Flashback to a few years ago when everyone was all like “LOL!!! TAYLOR IS DEAD” "LOL! SHE IS OVERRRR.”
Literally lol, because the joke is now on you...
She has risen from the dead... in case you didn't know, honey she does it all the time... and she has a few things she needs to say.
So take a seat and grab some vodka, because don’t blame me… I only deliver the facts and this is one show that will leave you with all the feels you have never felt before.
If you don't want any spoilers I suggest you look away now because it's about to get wild.
Have you ever been to church and died, risen, cried, screamed, been healed and had a party in the one night?
Well, now… you can.
I was lucky enough to see the tour in Nashville recently, and it is safe to say that this is one show that makes you feel different and for the best reasons.
For once, there is a safe place in a world that can be pretty dark.
A place where you can be celebrated for being yourself, a place where your strength is recognised and a place where you can feel free… all things that Taylor practices herself and then flows through her music and onto the whole crowd.
In a stadium filled with 60,000 or more people, Taylor can make you feel like you're the only one in the room with the ability to connect to all different age brackets, which is something completely rare and so beautifully powerful.
Literally, I think I am healed... my broken bones are mending™...
Taylor’s music always has and always will make you feel less alone and this era is no different.
While most people thought that reputation would be angry and something we hadn't heard before from Taylor, in fact, it couldn’t be more opposite.
She has never been more herself.
This album is about finding love while being surrounded by noise… and not just love in a relationship, but also re-finding the love you have for yourself.
We all are scared of what people say about us, how we are seen to others and how our reputation can have an impact on our day-to-day lives… and Taylor out of everyone knows this first hand.
But you can get to a point where you see past that and know that the people around you are the only ones who matter, and if they don’t like you for who you are, then they can leave now bye bye.
It’s no secret that Taylor has had her fair share of hate over the years… for literally no reason… most people forget that she is only 28-years-old, still figuring life out, still learning every single day and is human.
The fact that she has come back stronger than ever after dealing with the unthinkable says so much about her character and talent...
The world could all learn a lot from Taylor, and thankfully we now have a record breaking album to get to our own place of being better than we ever were.
The first time I saw Taylor Swift live was back in 2010, we were both 20-years-old, our whole life ahead of us, she had curly hair, wore cowboy boots and was singing about how she one day wanted to fall in love and have her own prince... and now lady is singing about how she only bought a dress to take it OFF and scratches down SOMEONE'S BACK... and she has heels big enough to kill a man and I couldn’t be more proud of how far she has come.
Taylor is about to bring her reputation stadium tour down under and you might find yourself asking...
And no, you are not.
These are the reasons why you need to see the reputation tour in Australia before it is too late.
Your chill will be lost. RIP.
You will be blown away… literally.
You will learn lessons that will leave you lying on the cold hard ground.
Including the important lesson of how to maintain your sass levels to be the perfect balance.
And how important it is to face your fears and take back your narrative despite what people are saying about you.
You will realise that Taylor is human, just like us.
Worried about it being outside… never fear… Taylor will dance with you in a storm in her best dress.. fearless…
You will feel free and accepted to be yourself.
You will realise that Taylor has legs longer than my future.
You will see that throughout Taylor’s whole career she has stayed true to the fact that her fans are her number one.
You might get a free dress because she only bought it to take it off.
Important information: PUT TISSUES IN YOUR BRAS LADIES.
Her dad, Scott, might also give you a free guitar pick, it’s a win win situation.
Her mum, Andrea might give you a hug that will make you scream, “ALL AT ONCE THIS IS ENOUGH™.”
There is a piano part that I still have not recovered from.
There is a surprise song every single night that even leaves Taylor surprised herself.
There are three different stages so no matter where you are sitting in the stadium you will have the best view and be SO CLOSE!
And SHE FREAKING FLIES to each stage… high above the whole scene... like freaking superwoman.
You might get a surprise guest like the actual real life Robbie Williams.
You can have one big f@%# you singalong to anyone whoever did you wrong.
You might actually think you’re in Disneyland… but tbh, she is an actual princess, so it makes sense.
Truly, it was one of the most magical nights of my life... and I'd do it over and over and over again if I could... actually I am, in Australia and so can you!
Check out all the Aussie dates for later this year and how to get tickets on Taylor's website here!
You won't be sorry.
