Sydney’s New Double-Decker Bus Has Hit Roads Today Transport NSW

The first of Sydney’s new B-line double-decker buses has taken off today, providing new transportation to Northern Beaches commuters.

The bright yellow bus will provide frequent services between Mona Vale and Wynyard, extending to Newport in 2018.

Some cool new features of the bus includes screens which provide real-time service and stop updates, as well as USB ports in seats for phone charges!

“B-Line bus services provide more seats, more on-board comfort and more services, more often. Other benefits include in-seat USB chargers and priority seating for people with accessibility needs,” says Transport NSW.

“There is no need to plan your trip on B-Line – it is a turn up and go service 7 days a week, running from 4.30am until 12.30am.”

For those travelling from the city towards the northern beaches, B-Line bus services will run from Wynyard, Stand B, Carrington Street.
