$1,000,000 funding has been committed by the Coalition Government for the nationwide Crime Stoppers campaign ‘Dob in a Dealer’.

The campaign encourages communities to assist law enforcement by providing Crime Stoppers with anonymous information that may help to disrupt the supply and use of illicit drugs.

The Hon Damian Drum MP, Federal Member for Murray, welcomes this funding and supports the campaign whole-heartedly.

“One million dollars will be provided from assets confiscated as proceeds of crime, meaning the program will be funded by money that was once destined to line the pockets of our most serious criminals.”

- Callum Whitehead, Media Advisor at Federal Member for Murray, the Hon Damian Drum MP

Between February 2016 and March 2017, the ‘Dob in a Dealer’ campaign initiated a national increase of 95 percent in drug-related reports. Anyone with information relating to drug dealing are urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
