The hunt continues for a man believed to have bashed another man with a metal pole outside a Surfers Paradise unit complex.
A 56-year-old was attacked by an unknown man outside the place on Watson Esplanade at around 5pm on Wednesday.
He was hit several times in the face and head, before the offender fled down Leonard Avenue, continuing northbound on Watson Esplanade.
The victim was taken to Gold Coast University with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators are calling for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
The alleged offender is described as Caucasian, solid build, in his mid-40s, wearing an orange hi-vis hoodie, a black and red cap, and blue shorts.
