Police are looking for a man behind an armed robbery in Grantville on Monday morning.
Armed Crime Squad detectives have been told the incident took place at 10:55am when a man entered the Bendigo Bank branch on Bass Highway, armed with a knife and hammer. He allegedly made demands for cash before leaving empty-handed.
The man approached two different bank tellers and was wearing a balaclava, long-sleeved high-visibility top and dark tracksuit pants at the time.
Although no one was injured, police are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
