Edge of the Bay is back and better than ever with a weekend full of events! This two-day, all ages celebration incorporates music, skating, food, Christmas and much more.
The weekend kicks off with Roadwise Community Yoga at 8am on Saturday 2 December at the Skate Park followed by breakfast. The Esperance leg of the King of the Concrete Skate Bowl Comp will kick off at 11am and run through to 5pm.
This competition is open to skaters from Esperance and afar with Under 12, Under 16, Open and Ladies categories. The Illuminate Festival will be going off at the Soundshell from 3pm with Old Blood headlining the festical. You will also hear from Ruby May, Brayden Sibbald, John Ratcliff, Rachel Vibart, Grand Casual and Firehorse.
Then at 8pm join us for the tree lighting at Andrew St/Esplanade of tune in for the live broadcast at the Soundshell. On Sunday pop in to the Markets at the Esperance Museum Village or head down to the Skate Park for some Skate Clinics.
Then that evening there will be a Christmas dinner for the seniors. Shire President Victoria Brown said, “This event will be action packed with so many activities for young and old. Please join us for the celebrations, the more the merrier!”
