Trying to work out where to take the kids for an Easter Egg hunt this long weekend?
We’ve compiled a list of some of the hunts taking place around the capital – so take your pick!
Hop along to the Easter egg trail at the Museum of Australian Democracy on Easter Sunday from 9am to 2pm! Challenge friends and family to follow the trail, find clues, crack the code and collect a yummy reward. There’ll also be face painting, picnic games and a Rotary Club BBQ! Entry is free!
Damsel & Sprout have teamed up with Darrell Lea to raise much needed funds for Red Nose, by bringing this massive egg hunt to Patrick White Lawns on Good Friday morning! There’ll be heaps of fun activities like face painting, a jumping castle, reptiles and zoo animals, live music and delicious food. Gates open at 10am and close at 1pm. Tickets are essential and numbers are limited.

Head along to Macgregor a FREE easter egg hunt the kids will love! This one kicks off at 8:30am on Easter Saturday at the Parkland Corner of Hollows Circuit and Macfarlane Burnet Avenue in Macgregor. There’ll also be bunny face painting and a visit from the Easter Bunny himself! First 50 coffees free. Don’t be late!
You’re invited to an Easter Adventure at Kids Land from 11:30am on Easter Saturday! The Easter Bunny has decided to hide the eggs with some special people who’ll have a flag showing the Easter Bunny’s trusted them to give out some special goodies! So get there early, collect your Easter Adventure Booklet, and start hunting! Participation is free!

It’s back and bigger than last year! The YPS 2017 Easter Egg Hunt is being run on both Saturday and Sunday from 10am. There’ll be more eggs and prizes, plus face painting, a jumping castle and an appearance by the Easter Bunny! All tickets are $12 with all hunters to receive a Cadbury egg goodie bag and train ride.
The Easter Bunny is coming to Rodney’s! Starting at 10:30am, there’ll be one massive Easter Egg hunt for kids up to 12 years of age. It’s FREE to participate and places are limited to the first 100 reservations. Please secure your place by calling 6257 5822.
Corin Forest will be holding an Easter Egg hunt at 11am EVERY DAY over the Easter long weekend! Bring the whole family to enjoy some great Easter fun in a lovely bush setting, while hunting for goodies! Best to let Corin Forest know you’re coming so they have enough eggs for everyone!
